Gautam has been teaching for nearly 20 years at some of the most prestigious management institutes and corporate houses in India. The expanse of his tutorage covers 1,500+ students and over 50,000 man-hours. The institutes he has delivered lectures at include Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, Symbiosis Institute of Mass Communications, IIT - Kharagpur, SP Jain Institute of Management Studies and the University of Leeds, UK.

NMIMS: A Top-10 MBA school
Between 2002 and 2008, Gautam has taught over 400 MBA students in their final year at his alma mater - NMIMS, one of India's most renowned B-school campuses. His subjects covered Technology in Marketing and Entrepreneurship.

Symbiosis Institute of Mass Communication
Gautam conducted over 200 lectures as visiting faculty at the prestigious SIMC and taught "Marketing Media" to over 400 students between 2009 and 2015. He is one of the most highly rated professors at the SIMC campus, based on annual ratings, with a score of over 95%.

Adfactors PR - Digital Skills
Gautam conducted exhaustive "digital skilling" programs for over 1,500 employees of India's largest PR company over a period of 3 years, where every employee of the agency was imparted 40 hours of training on how to use digital tools in Public Relations. From Management Trainees to Presidents, each employee was imparted the skilling which has contributed to Adfactors being one of the most digitally savvy PR companies in India.
